Lori Gilchrist Vandell established a career as a professional in the pharmaceutical industry in August of 2000 shortly after graduating from North Carolina State University in Raleigh where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Public Relations.  Due to the limited life-span of pharmaceutical products and her ongoing personal development goals, Lori has seized many opportunities to promote herself, and her interview skills are the critical factor in landing some highly sought-after positions in a deeply competitive industry.

Lori also competed in several pageants including the Miss North Carolina Scholarship Pageant in the late 1990s where she earned enough cash scholarships to pay for her entire tuition at N.C. State.  She won numerous talent and interview awards and finished overall 3rd runner-up in 1998 and 1st runner-up in 1999. Lori credits the intensive panel and on-stage interview training she received through this process for her preparation and confidence to enter the high-pressure pharmaceutical industry at the young age of 22. Her passions include designing custom resumes specializing in the pharmaceutical and medical sales industries and coaching job and pageant candidates on winning interview techniques.  Lori's coaching model is focused on creating a memorable interview through effective storytelling. She has been a member of the Professional Association of Resume Writers and Career Coaches since 2021 and continues to expand her training through regular workshops and development courses.
